Canazei is a village of just under 2000 inhabitants in the Ladin-speaking part of the Dolomites area of Italy. It is one of the main winter centres in the Val di Fassa (Fassatal for the German-speaking part of the South Tyrol) and occupies a strategic position in the popular Sella Ronda ski circuit.
End part of the Ski World Cup downhill piste in Flachau, part of the largest ski region in Austria - Ski Amade. The Austrian ski resort of Flachau is part of the Salzburger Sportwelt Ski Area with access to 124 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Flachau itself (350km of piste ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Salzburger Sportwelt ski resorts of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Filzmoos, Goldegg, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.
